Janos Nemeti began his musical career at the age of five in Fehergyarmat, Hungary. After taking up the violin, he discovered his love for trumpet that still follows him today. Janos studied trumpet at the Bela Bartok Music High School in Budapest and successfully completed his diploma in 2002.

 

That same year, he began his studies with Prof. Markus Würsch at the Bern Academy of the Arts in Switzerland. In 2007 Janos furthered his studies in Basel at the Academy of Music with Prof. Klaus Schuwerk, successfully completing a diploma of pedagogy (Master of Arts in Musikpädagogik) in 2009.

Already as a student, Janos was active both as a teacher and performer, playing trumpet with a variety of orchestras.

 

In 2010, Janos discovered his passion for historical performance practice; it was here that he crossed paths with Aron Vajna. In 2015, Janos began his apprenticeship in the atelier of Aron. Since then, he has supported Aron with not only his precise craftsmanship, but also his musical background and new ideas, resulting in the successful cooperation that continues through today.

Parallel to his work in the atelier, Janos continues to be active as a pedagogue and conductor.
